Friends Run Airsoft Games
FRAG

After the soring prices of the National Airsoft Event became extortionate, a group friends and family - who usually met up each year to relax and play airsoft - decided to try hosting our own event.

The first event in 2024 was a success, so we decided to keep it going!

About

ABOUT

This event is run by a group with a variety of backgrounds in airsoft. The core group used to meet once a year to play at the National Airsoft Festival; however, due to soaring prices and overcrowding in 2024, we decided to see if we could run a smaller, non-profit event instead. We wanted to retain the banter and social atmosphere that NAF provided, while also offering flexible gameplay.

After two great initial years, we decided to continue running and attending these events for our friends, and friends of friends.

In 2024 we had around 26 players, and in 2025 around 30. In 2026, we would like to at least match those numbers, or better still increase them with more like-minded players. All levels of experience are welcome at this event; in fact, over the past two years we’ve had everyone from complete newcomers to hardened airsofters attending.

As organisers, we take NO PROFITS from these events, meaning we earn nothing from running them. Any additional funds are reinvested into the following year's event. If the remaining balance becomes excessive, or if we decide not to continue organising these events, any remaining funds will be donated to one of the following charities, which are close to the organisers' hearts:

- Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia (CLL Support)

- Ritchers Lyphoma (Leukemia Foundation)

- Prostate Cancer (Prostate Cancer UK)

Facilities

Over the past few years, we have been running these events at Tuddenham Airfield, a former WWII airfield. As a result, there are limited facilities onsite. The following facilities will be provided:

  • Portaloo toilets

  • Area to pitch tents or campervans

  • Barn for kit set up and cooking in wet weather

  • There is NO running water on site, all attendees must bring their own water

Due to its location, there are several supermarkets nearby. The two closest are:

  • Sainsbury's, Mildenhall: 5.9miles (13 minutes)

  • Asda, Bury St Edmunds: 7.9 miles (14 minutes)

We plan to expand the facilities in futures years, subject to attendee numbers. These plans may include the provision of a water bowser and a shower block.
